To celebrate the upcoming release of Yawara - a fashionable judo girl, we've
created a special Yawara T-Shirt, featuring calligraphy by local expert Mitsuyo Ito.
The character, “yawara”, is the first kanji in Judo.
To emphasize the flexible nature of yawara, it appears tilted on the t-shirt.
These high-quality shirts are available for a mere $9.98, or you can get one free
with any order of $100.00 or more. And note that if you buy a t-shirt, you can get free USPS shipping,
and we'll be able to add in a free copy of the Yawara Preview DVD!
Also, we have a limited number of shirts that feature the kanji on the back instead of the front. If you'd prefer one of these,
simply say so in the comments field of your order.

For your convenience, here is the order button for the free preview DVD...

What better way to follow up on our Samurai T-Shirt, especially now that we are releasing
the Shinobi no Mono series, than with
a shirt that celebrates Ninjas -- though Robert thinks that these really should be black
shirts with black printing on them, because real Ninjas are invisible!
These high-quality shirts are available for a mere $9.98, or you can get one free
with any order of $100.00 or more.

We do Samurai films, so we ought to have a samurai t-shirt. And unlike other companies with classy Chinese characters on their shirts, we actually tell you what
they mean (and it isn't “This moron can't read Chinese characters”). That's right, just like our videos, this t-shirt comes with liner notes!
Translation: Fast Like the Wind Calm Like the Forest Conquering Like the Fire Invincible Like the Mountains
This quotation, adapted from Sun Tzu's classic, “The Art of War”, was used in the battle flag of the Takeda clan in the movie “Samurai
Banners”, available on DVD from AnimEigo.
Written sometime during the 6th century B.C. in China, the 13 chapter “Art of War” is the oldest surviving and most widely recognized
“manual” on military strategy. Introduced to the West over 200 years ago after being translated into French, it has been highly praised by successful generals
such as Napoleon and Norman Schwarzkopf.
In ancient Japan, reading Sun Tzu was considered an essential part of the education of a samurai. Today, Sun Tzu's advice has been applied to many other areas of
human endeavor - business, coaching, even dating.
However, we do wish people would pay more attention to what we consider to be his greatest insight:
“To fight and conquer in all your battles is not supreme excellence; supreme excellence consists in breaking the enemy's resistance without fighting.”
Designed by AnimEigo - Calligraphy by Mitsuyo Ito.
Now back in a second printing by popular demand (and a few threats)... but we're almost out and all we have left is SMALL t-shirts.
